Samsung Galaxy S Plus, with Android Gingerbread and 1.4GHz Processor
The Samsung Galaxy S Plus has been released in order to continue what the Samsung Galaxy S started. The Samsung Galaxy S was in fact one of the most talked about smartphones of this season so we can only imagine the Samsung Galaxy S Plus to be even more anticipated in 2011.
The name certainly suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S Plus will offer all that the Samsung Galaxy S offers and just that little bit more. With this handset, the creators behind the original have taken into consideration what could be improved and in turn have produced a similar handset to that of the original, with even more to boast about.
The all-new Galaxy S Plus is said to have some new and exciting features along with all the pre-existing Galaxy S features.
The Samsung Galaxy S Plus comes with a faster 1.4 GHz processor, which allows users to download content and load webpages faster than ever before. All the usual great looking features of the original phone have stayed intact and the handset will still be hitting the shop shelves with an impressive 4 inches of AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display. However, there is one adjustment to this and that comes in the shape of a gorilla glass display.
Most importantly however, is the software and the Samsung Galaxy S Plus certainly doesn’t fall down there and the handset has Android 2.3 as its OS.
Another great incentive to invest in the all-new Samsung Galaxy S Plus is that all the prominent network service carriers have presented this particular handset with a series of extremely attractive mobile phone deals.
Users should look into providers that offer free texts, free talk time and free line rental in a contract. This is possibly the best way to get your hands on this particular handset as otherwise you would have to buy the Samsung Galaxy S Plus outright.

BlackBerry Playbook Update 1.05
Research In Motion has announced yet another update for its BlackBerry Playbook devices, named as V1.05.
Aimed at adding more functionality to the devices apart from fixing some bugs, the update comes as a welcome summer gift for the BlackBerry Playbook users. With this update, the Playbook also takes a giant step towards social networking. The Facebook app, for BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, has been updated to include video uploading, message deletion, Search enhancements and more.
Along with the social media, the PlayBook also gets 'in app purchases' facility, making it easier for users to do transactions from within the apps. Also, RIM had announced the in-App purchase, software development kit for the developers allowing them to make newer applications with this feature.
The update aims to bring almost browser like functionality to the application as well. Smaller tweaks, including the Wi-Fi hotspot detection feature and addition of language support, have also been added to the PlayBook with this update.
By just touching the battery icon, user will now be able to turn off, restart and shut done the device and even control the screens brightness.
The Playbook V1.05 update also brings the charger detection feature that prompts the users when a wrong charger or the BlackBerry Smart phone's charger is plugged in to the PlayBook.
Users upgrading the device are advised to connect to a Wi-Fi network while upgrading.
